How to become a Successful Businesswoman and remain a woman

Time management like a woman: How to become a successful businesswoman and remain a woman

Tatiana Tur, founder, and CEO of Sound Media and Sound Media Kids school studio

In the understanding of men, women are fluttering "creatures" who constantly forget their bags and are late for meetings.

That is why the phrase "female time management" sounds as strange as "female logic".

In fact, women can be just as successful as men.

And even better in business, family, and self-care.

You, too, can build this system and implement it in life.

One has only to want.

Principle one: you don't need to be productive 24/7!

This is the most important rule that I understood while working in the primordially male sphere - show business.

A woman doesn't need to be productive all the time.

When you come home, turn off your mobile and stop checking mail, solving any emergency tasks, holding your phone with one hand, and trying to wash off your makeup with the other.

First, no one will appreciate it.

Secondly, even if you close one urgent task now, then in the morning others will still appear.

Just relax and say goodbye to work in front of your doorstep.

Then allow your body to recharge with simple meditation or a cup of tea in silence.

Personal experience: For several years I have been trying to work around the clock to be productive.

And I realized that it was wrong when during the vacation I did not let go of my mobile, and the rest itself turned into "rather to work, it is on fire!"

Of course, the body then "thanked" me for this disease and complete exhaustion.

If you stay effective around the clock, then the energy goes away, and eternal stress and fears come into their place.

And also sickness and a sense of guilt before family, children, and myself.

How is it with men?

Men work quietly 24/7 for two reasons - they can do it, and they are charged with the ideas around them and the work itself like this.

The very solution of the problem already gives a drive, on which they work for a very long time.

Principle two: do a lot at once!

Multitasking is akin to juggling balls.

You can control many balls, but from time to time you focus on the most important one.

You just need to be able to choose the same "ball" while the rest are hanging in the air.

It's the same with tasks.

If you do one task a day, you won't get much done.

But if you specifically train yourself to do several things at the same time: remember all the necessary things, have time to prepare documents, discuss everything on the phone along the way, then you can move mountains in one day.

Train this trait.

You already have it.

And then it will be easier to work, and little things like conversations will not unsettle.

Personal experience: I was taught multitasking by working in government agencies when at the same time it was necessary to remember the numbers of articles and protocols, the names of leaders and dates, along the way to prepare documents and have time to advise colleagues during work.

And now many are surprised how I can remember so much and do so much.

How is it with men?

Men work well when they concentrate on one, at most a couple of tasks.

They have well-developed only direct, tunnel vision, they are used to focusing on one thing - a contract, a road.

But women in this regard win since they have developed peripheral vision.

You can keep up with working while looking after the children.

Simple biology.

Principle Three: Raise Your Inner Soldier

A bit masculine quality.

But your inner soldier is the perfect self-discipline that will help you anytime, anywhere.

It is necessary not only to learn how to plan and do but also to keep the promises made to yourself and other people.

Without self-discipline, a business or work will immediately fly into the abyss.

Therefore, train yourself and learn to fulfill all the promises you make to your diary.

This is important not for others, but for you.
